Stemco (Specialized Truck Equipment Manufacturing Company) was established in 1951 in St. Charles, Missouri and began as a supplier of truck parts not much earlier than Plaza. They went on to invent the use of oil lubrication for wheel bearings. STEMCO makes wheel seals in four designs to meet all of the specialized needs of heavy duty applications.

SKF, originally Chicago Rawhide, CR, supplies two best selling grades of wheel seals. The SKF Scotseal Classic using nitrile rubber has been a reliable standard for more than 30 years.
