Pinion Seals
The term pinion seals refers to the seals for end yoke shafts attached not only to a pinion but also to the input and output shafts of the forward axle in a tandem. Generally the pinion seals that Plaza stocks are components of tandem axles. Thus below, seals are usually identified as “front input”, “front output” , and “rear input” (where the actual pinion is located) Also in the data below “Bore ID” is the inner diameter of the hole into which the seal will fit and “yoke shaft OD” is the outer diameter of the shaft around which the seal also fits.
