Most basic Tractor Protection System Using the TP-3 valve
Bendix TP-3, TP-4, and TP-5 valves are not comparable tractor protection valves. The TP-4 valve is used solely on Ford “L” model tractors. The TP-5 is an advanced valve designed to replace the TP-3 that requires, for example, an external double check valve that is built into the TP-5.
Haldex PN KN34110 is comparable to the TP-5 valve performing all of the same functions. Haldex KN34110 offers the same ports and port sizes as the Bendix OR288605X. However, as you can see from the above pictures, the orientation of the ports on the Haldex valve does not appear to be the same as the TP-5. It is likely that “re-pipiing” would be required to substitute one of these valves for the other.
