Chalmers 800 Maintenance
The Chalmers 800 suspension is popular for dump trucks because of the ease of maintenance. The attached recommendations from Dayton Parts explain in detail how to maintain the spigot cap, restrictor can, rubber spring, walking beam, and other components. It also helps to routinely check all bolts to insure they are tightened with the specified torque.
